As a high-profile, leading edge forum for researchers and engineers in the field of Softwarized networks, orchestration technologies, Open Source platforms, Hardware acceleration and abstraction, etc, ICIN 2021 offers a unique opportunity to showcase applications, engage with a highly skilled and innovating audience and discuss emerging technologies and recent research prototypes with key thought leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are seeking for original demos from industrial and academia researchers related to ICIN 2021 Key Topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The topics considered but not limited to, include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Intent-based network management and cloud resource orchestration<\/li><li>Network programmability architectures and systems<\/li><li>Functional decomposition and orchestration, service chaining<\/li><li>Energy-efficient software-defined infrastructures<\/li><li>NFVi performance considerations<\/li><li>Network &amp; resource slicing<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Further topics can be found in the conference CFP:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-icin-2021 wp-block-embed-icin-2021\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"V2PtYRKyko\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.icin-conference.org\/call-for-papers\/\">Call for Papers<\/a><\/blockquote><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;Call for Papers&#8221; &#8212; ICIN 2021\" src=\"https:\/\/www.icin-conference.org\/call-for-papers\/embed\/#?secret=V2PtYRKyko\" data-secret=\"V2PtYRKyko\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2>Submission Guidelines for Demos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Prospective contributors are expected to turn in a demo proposal in the form of a 3-page paper in IEEE conference double-column format, preferably incorporating a demo system architecture illustration. The proposal should also describe in detail what ICIN 2021 attendees who will be present at the demonstration session will experience. Especially, we encourage software demos that the audience can interact with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Demo papers will be peer-reviewed and accepted demo papers will be included in the electronic conference\/workshops\u2019 proceedings bundle provided to ICIN 2021 attendees and will be subsequently submitted to IEEE Xplore. The demo proposals will be approved based on availability of demo space as well as on the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Extent and significance of the research contribution<\/li><li>Potential impact on the audience<\/li><li>Quality of the proposed implementation<\/li><li>Presentation quality<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We encourage authors to include a short video (less than 5 minutes) of their demonstration to clearly illustrate the user experience, and demo scenario. Also please note that in case of virtual conference video material is considered to be the main presentation form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Demonstration proposal papers should be submitted through the EDAS entry of ICIN 2021, selecting Demo Paper Track&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/edas.info\/newPaper.php?c=27469&amp;track=102620\">https:\/\/edas.info\/newPaper.php?c=27469&amp;track=102620<\/a>. Only PDF files will be accepted. At least one author of each accepted demo proposal is required to register for the ICIN 2021 main conference and present their demo at the scheduled demo session(s).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proposal may be complemented with additional documents like PowerPoint slides that clarify the demonstration, as well as the list of technical requirements for the demonstration (power outlet, space, additional equipment, etc.).
