Arriving to Paris

By air

If you are arriving by plane, then there are several ways of getting to the city centre:

From Roissy-Charles-De-Gaulle airport (Terminal 1), RER line B takes you to the city centre Les Halles) in 36 minutes for €9.50. The Roissybus service takes travelers to the Opéra district, in less than an hour (fare: €10).

The Orlybus links Orly airport to place Denfert-Rochereau in the south of Paris, in around 30 minutes (fare: €7.70). Orlyval, a special metro, transports travellers to Antony RER station; from here, RER line B takes travelers on to the city centre (fare Orly-Paris: €12.10).

You can also opt for a taxi: the current charge for transfers between Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle and Paris is €50 (northern bank) or €55 (southern bank), and €35 (northern bank) or €30 (southern bank) between Orly and Paris. Note that hotels in the Montparnasse area are on the southern bank of the river Seine.

Warning: The meeting venue in Châtillon is outside Paris and the charges for direct transfers from the Airports to Châtillon are slightly higher than those indicated above. A cheaper alternative is the shared taxi system. Wecab, a service provided by Taxis G7, enables you to reduce the cost of a journey by booking in advance

The cars Air France offer several airport shuttle transport services to and from several central points in Paris ((one-way: from €12 to €22; round-trip: from €20 to €37, depending on the itinerary)). Finally, some companies like Uber or different private shuttle services can be pre-booked at a fixed fare. According to the number of people travelling, you can choose a people carrier, minivan or minibus.

By train

Paris is also served by six train stations situated in the centre of the capital, among which:

• Gare du Nord, from Belgium, the Netherlands and UK
• Gare de l’Est, from Germany and beyond
• Gare de Lyon, from Switzerland, Italy, and Spain

From these, you can take a metro or one of the taxis parked in front of every station.

Transport in Paris area

Even though there are many ways to travel in Paris including taxis, buses and even by foot; one convenient way to quickly reach all destinations is the Metro. There are 14 metro lines crossing Paris in every direction, which are complemented by Local trains (named “RER”) to access the suburban area.
To reach Orange Gardens by metro, you will need to get off the metro at the station called “Châtillon Montrouge” on the line 13. Please check the metro station with a in the bottom part of the following map:
