Call For Tutorials
The 29th Conference on Innovation in Clouds, Internet and Networks (ICIN 2026) invites tutorial proposals from distinguished researchers and experienced industry practitioners. Tutorials should address the theme of the conference, i.e., “Disruptive Intelligent Technologies for Next-Generation Clouds and Networks”, encompassing cutting-edge developments that are reshaping the design, deployment, and management of modern communication and computing infrastructures. Relevant areas include, but are not limited to: artificial intelligence and machine learning for network automation, cloud-edge continuum architectures, programmable and reconfigurable networks, network softwarization, energy-efficient service orchestration, and emerging paradigms such as 6G, quantum networking, and trustworthy AI-driven systems. Proposals should aim to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of these transformative technologies, their practical applications, and their potential to enable future network and service ecosystems.
Guidelines for Tutorial Proposals
Tutorial proposals must be submitted as a single PDF file (maximum 4 pages) and should include the following information:
- Tutorial Title
- Duration: short (90 minutes) or long (180 minutes with a break)
- Abstract: a concise overview of the concept, motivation, and objectives of the tutorial (up to 300 words)
- Speakers: names, affiliations, and short biographies highlighting relevant expertise and prior experience (up to 300 words per speaker)
- Intended Audience: a description of the target audience and any prerequisite knowledge required of participants
- Format and Schedule: planned format (e.g., lecture, hands-on session, demonstration) and a tentative time schedule
- Content Description: a detailed account of the tutorial content, including the relevance and timeliness of the topic, the specific goals of the session, and an outline of the material to be covered. If applicable, provide details of previous tutorial experience, including audience size and feedback, and describe how the proposed tutorial differs from past versions.
- Handout Materials: a brief description of the non-interactive materials that will be made available to attendees (e.g., slides, software tools, code snippets, virtual machines, or detailed instructions/README files).
